Yesterday, I had my first "public" response to the cover. My husband and I were ordering at a restaurant, and as I have my cover as the wallpaper on my phone, it caught the waitress's eye. She asked what it was, and I had the opportunity to promote myself and the book. She loved the cover and was interested in getting a copy. The moral to the story - covers DO sell books.
